H.E. ABDISAQ IBRAHIM MOHAMED (ABDIRISAK ATAASH)
Deputy Chairman, Puntland Democratic Party (PDP)
Abdisaq Ibrahim Mohamed, widely known as Abdirisak Ataash, is a Somali political leader and businessman born in Laascaanood in 1969. He currently serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Puntland Democratic Party (PDP).
He has extensive experience in both public service and the private sector, with a strong focus on governance, development, and economic empowerment. Throughout his career, he has worked to strengthen public institutions, promote sustainable development, and create opportunities for communities.
Abdisaq previously served as a Minister in the Government of the autonomous region of Somaliland, where he held the position of Minister of Posts and Telecommunications. In this role, he contributed to reforms aimed at improving communication infrastructure and enhancing institutional performance.
In addition to his government service, he has been active in business and entrepreneurship, building experience in leadership, investment, and organizational development. His career reflects a long-standing commitment to public service, innovation, and economic growth.
