Huda Salah Omar (Huda Amun) is a Somali political and youth leader committed to advancing democratic participation, youth empowerment, and civic engagement within Somalia and the diaspora community.
She was born in Somalia on April 17, 1998, and has built an active role in political organization, youth leadership, and community development initiatives.
Her work focuses on strengthening youth representation and promoting inclusive governance.
She currently serves as the Chairperson of the Youth Wing of the Puntland Democratic Party (Pdp), where she leads youth engagement programs, political awareness initiatives, and organizational development efforts aimed at empowering young people within the political process.
She is also a member of the Somali Opposition Council, contributing to discussions on political reform, civic participation, and national dialogue.
Based in the European Union (EU), she continues her political and civic engagement work, particularly focusing on Somali diaspora communities and international advocacy.
Her leadership experience includes youth mobilization, political advocacy, and community engagement aimed at amplifying the voices of young people and women in governance.
Her vision is to contribute to a more inclusive and democratic political environment where youth play an active role in shaping the future of Somalia.
